About the position
The Forklift Operator at Fritch Forest Products is responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload lumber trucks, as well as assisting in production at a family-owned sawmill. The role requires attention to detail in identifying different dimensions, lengths, and species of lumber to ensure accurate tallying. The position is full-time, primarily during the day shift, with opportunities for overtime.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to load and unload lumber trucks.
- Assist in production processes at the sawmill.
- Identify different dimensions, lengths, and species of lumber for accurate tallying.
- Ensure safe operation of the forklift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- 1 year of relevant warehouse experience.
- 2 years of forklift operating experience, preferably with Hyster HD 210/230.
- Basic math skills.

- Experience operating a Hyster HD 210/230 forklift.
