About the position

The Operator - Forklift 1 is responsible for safely moving products using powered industrial equipment within the Tifton Warehouse Shift Ops Team at Coca-Cola UNITED. This role emphasizes adherence to safety policies, efficient handling of goods, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities

  • Operate powered industrial equipment while following safety policies.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products, full goods, and raw materials.
  • Stack loads properly to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the forklift to ensure operational safety.
  • Correctly rotate products and materials as required.
  • Follow all warehouse operating procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology.
  • Less than high school education or up to 1 month of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as required.
  • Ability to work with all functional team members.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
