About the position

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure the efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including Cherry Picker Lift.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring accurate placement and organization of goods.
• Utilize a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and managing orders.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in materials handling tasks, including picking orders and preparing items for shipment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks associated with heavy lifting and equipment operation.

Requirements

• Experience with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking.
• Strong knowledge of materials handling best practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Familiarity with equipment repair processes is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
