About the position

The Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving products using powered industrial equipment within the Coca-Cola Bottling UNITED warehouse. This role involves adhering to safety policies, performing inspections, and ensuring proper handling of goods. Responsibilities

  • Safely operate powered industrial equipment following safety policies.
  • Verify all incoming and outgoing products, full goods, and raw materials.
  • Stack loads properly and perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Conduct daily forklift inspections and rotate products/materials correctly.
  • Follow all warehouse operating procedures and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is essential.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology.
  • Less than high school education or up to 3-6 months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required.
  • Ability to work with all functional team members.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
