Responsibilities
- Unload raw materials from incoming trucks and put in designated areas.
- Check count of incoming raw materials.
- Load trucks with the proper raw materials.
- Check amounts of product as loading.
- Load/unload trucks with the proper finished goods.
- Check amounts of product as loading/unloading.
- Ability to operate turret trucks, propane &/or electric forklifts in a high paced environment and be forklift certified.
- Supply bottles to the production lines.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and battery/propane tank changing operations.
- Perform any other driving activities as directed by supervision.
- Clean/maintain their work areas throughout the shift.
- Have an understanding of SQF, responsible for Food Safety/Food Quality and provide proper notification to a person with the authority to take action for any Food Safety or Food Quality issues.
- Represents the company in a positive manner at all times.
- Must be available to work overtime when needed.
- Properly adhere to Company policies and all safety requirements, including Personal Protective Equipment requirements on the job.
Requirements
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to read and write English
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or maneuver more than 50 pounds
