About the position
The Forklift Operator position at our food manufacturing facility is essential for the efficient movement and storage of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products. This role requires a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate forklifts and maintain an organized warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to transport products and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, verifying materials and quantities.
- Organize, stack, and store materials in designated areas to maintain an orderly workspace.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs or concerns.
- Assist with inventory tracking and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Experience operating a forklift within the last 2 years.
- Minimum of 1 year forklift operating experience.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment.
