About the position

The Form and Fill Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining form and fill machines in a manufacturing facility, specifically in the production of popcorn. This role requires attention to detail to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications while working in a team-oriented environment. The position involves performing various production tasks, maintaining cleanliness in the production area, and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing production work in manufacturing facility.
• Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans equipment and facility.
• Inspects product to ensure high quality.
• Attends to production line(s).
• Cleans production area: sweeps, mops, removes debris, performs sanitation tasks.
• Feeds or places items onto or into equipment for processing.
• Ensures conformance to specifications.
• Pulls damaged or ineffective product off the line.
• Records data.
• Takes instructions from supervisors.
• Completes daily and weekly sanitation tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must speak fluent English.
• Manufacturing experience required.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience with Hayssen form and fill machines preferred.
