About The Position

The Formulation Technician II position at Thermo Fisher Scientific involves operating encapsulating machines to produce gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms. The technician will work night shifts and is expected to contribute to the production process while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, or lab setting.
• Experience in a cGMP environment preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret data and perform basic calculations.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate an encapsulating machine to produce products from pre-mixed ingredients.
• Ensure proper temperatures, machine settings, and equipment setups.
• Perform in-process testing and take samples of the product.
• Assist with machine setup, cleanup, and changeover processes.
• Operate inline printing equipment as needed.
