About The Position

The Formulation Technician III position at Novo Nordisk involves the formulation of insulin and media preparations under aseptic conditions to meet production goals. The role includes supporting the training of junior team members and demonstrating expertise in the assigned area. This position is part of the Fill & Finish Expansions (FFEx) department, which is responsible for major expansion activities within aseptic production and aims to set the standards for future aseptic production facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an FDA regulated environment required
• Successful Completion of Formulation Technician III Job Qualification Requirements (JQR) & promotion board approval
• Formulation experience preferred
• Ability to read, write & understand complicated product documentation & standard operating procedures with attention to detail required
• Computer literacy preferred

Nice To Haves

• Military experience
• BioWorks/BioBlend certification or equivalent from an accredited college

Responsibilities

• Perform formulation of insulin, media, sanitant & other preparations
• Operate, monitor & control equipment, systems & processes
• Achieve production goals
• Maintain aseptic areas & perform environmental monitoring
• Perform Event & Process Root Cause Analysis
• Review & author SOPs & other documents as required
• Assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive & preventative maintenance
• Record/review production data in BPR & associated forms
• Identify & execute process improvement in the assigned area(s)
• Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties
• Other accountabilities, as assigned
