About the position

The Case Manager/BRS Facilitator at Community and Family Services Foundation (CFSF) plays a crucial role in supporting foster families and the children in their care. This position involves establishing communication with various stakeholders, managing case loads, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements while providing trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain open communication with DCYF staff, CFSF staff, foster families, biological parents, and children in care.
• Complete necessary reporting, maintain client records, and document all meetings and contacts.
• Maintain a good working relationship with foster parents, clients, and CFSF employees.
• Complete 30 hours of training per year related to clients, case management, and social work.
• Manage a case load of no more than 25 children.
• Act as a main support to foster families.
• Act as a liaison between foster families and DCYF workers.
• Complete home visits, implement a trauma-informed care approach, and attend weekly clinical oversight meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Services or a related field.
• 1-2 years of field experience preferred.
• Knowledge of WACs and minimum licensing requirements.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation and appropriate level of auto liability insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and maintain a clean driving record.
