About the position
The Foundation Development Associate at CHI Health Good Samaritan is responsible for planning and implementing activities to broaden the Foundation's donor base and establish consistent support. This role involves coordinating fundraising events, managing employee and annual giving campaigns, and overseeing donor recognition initiatives. The associate will also assist in grant administration and ensure effective communication for the Foundation's activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates special events, SCRUBS, and other fundraising events identified by the Foundation.
- Develops, manages, and implements employee and annual giving campaigns.
- Works closely with the manager to develop solicitation strategies and long-range development plans.
- Oversees all annual giving initiatives, including direct mail campaigns for donor acquisition.
- Recommends solicitation methods and evaluates and reports on activities.
- Participates in major gift campaigns as required.
- Responsible for communications for the Foundation, including website updates, social media content, and newsletters.
- Provides administrative support for campus events, including processing payments and preparing acknowledgment letters.
- Coordinates and tracks all Foundation projects, ensuring team members have necessary resources.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Five years of relevant experience may substitute for a Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with database concepts.
- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
