About the position

Under the direction of the Director of the AmeriHealth Caritas Foundation, the Foundation Manager is the secondary leader of Foundation operations. The Manager will play a key role executing the Foundation's mission through strategic investments and programming across AmeriHealth Caritas' existing and growth markets. With the Foundation's focus on impact, the Foundation Manager will support the development and implementation of an evaluation framework to measure program outcomes, track performance metrics, and provide insights to inform future giving strategies. The Foundation Manager is responsible for the end-to-end grantmaking process, including full ownership of CRM, developing relationships with grant recipients, and ensuring efficient collection of information and disbursement of grant awards in compliance with internal guidelines and IRS policies. Works closely with the Director to review in-bound grant requests, cultivating relationships with current and potential grant partners, and supporting the development of compelling partnerships and proposals. Partners with applicable internal stakeholders to communicate impact and execute communication strategy across internal, external, digital, press, and social media platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5 or more years in program management, community relations, or related role.
  • Demonstrated experience in program design, implementation, analysis, and evaluation.
  • Ability to travel within the Philadelphia region.
