About the position

The Account Executive role at Anthropos is a foundational position aimed at launching the US sales operations for a modern enterprise solution that helps organizations map, verify, and build skills at scale. This role involves significant prospecting and outreach to medium and large enterprises across various industries, with a focus on building relationships and closing deals. The successful candidate will work closely with the EMEA sales team and founders to acquire the first US customers, demonstrating a strong understanding of the product and the ability to manage the full sales cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Spend 90% of time on prospecting and outreach with a curated list of target accounts.
  • Conduct regular weekly cold calling (150+ calls/week) and email outreach (200+ messages/week).
  • Find and refine target accounts, taking ownership of the prospect list.
  • Demo the product and become an expert in its features and benefits.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including renewals and expansions.
  • Focus on selling solutions to problems rather than just software.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting quotas through outbound efforts.
  • Positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Resilience and grit, with the ability to persevere through difficulties.
  • Personable with a natural ability to connect and build relationships.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable discussing and utilizing technology tools.
  • Financial motivation and eagerness to achieve significant earnings.
  • Strong ambition for career growth and substantial achievements.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn about people and businesses.
  • Independent and self-starter, able to figure things out without waiting for direction.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience selling in startups (Seed - Series A) and medium/large corporates.
