About the position

The Developer Relations role at Recruiting from Scratch focuses on building and nurturing a vibrant developer community around a client's AI platform. This position involves strategic planning, technical advocacy, content creation, community engagement, and organizing developer events to enhance the platform's visibility and user engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategy to build and grow a vibrant developer community around the client's AI platform.
• Establish success metrics and use data and insights to guide community engagement efforts.
• Communicate technical capabilities to the developer community and develop compelling messaging.
• Create and publish developer-focused content, including blog posts, documentation, video tutorials, and technical guides.
• Host webinars, workshops, and other events to educate and engage the developer community.
• Foster relationships with developers via Discord, Twitter, and other online forums.
• Act as the voice of the developer, gathering feedback to inform product development and strategy.
• Organize and participate in developer events, hackathons, and conferences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to showcase technology and engage with developers.
• Facilitate technical partnerships and joint initiatives to expand reach.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a technical role involving engagement with developer communities.
• Technical fluency to translate platform features into engaging content for developers.
• Experience in startup environments, comfortable with fast-paced and ambiguous situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to distill complex technical concepts into clear content.
• Hands-on experience creating technical content such as blog posts, videos, and tutorials.
• Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions and measure community engagement success.
• Experience with community management and fostering developer engagement.
