About the position

The Founding Mobile Developer will play a crucial role in the development of a revolutionary mobile app for a stealth startup. This position involves taking ownership of the mobile development process, collaborating closely with the founding team, and contributing to the product's design and market launch. Initially, compensation will be equity-based until the startup generates revenue, at which point a salary will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the mobile app on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve the app's performance.
• Stay up-to-date with new mobile technology trends, frameworks, and tools.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Swift and Xcode for iOS development.
• Expertise in Java and Android Studio for Android development.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience with version control (Git, GitHub).
• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX standards and design patterns.
• Ability to debug and optimize app performance for efficiency.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Kotlin for Android or Objective-C for iOS.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.).
• Understanding of DevOps and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
