About the position

As a Founding Product Designer at Julius, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design direction of our AI Data Analyst product. This position offers the autonomy to design user interfaces that will be utilized by millions of knowledge workers, translating advanced AI capabilities into intuitive products. You will be responsible for crafting every detail of new product features, defining the product's visual identity, and iterating based on user feedback and research.

Responsibilities

• Design and build user interfaces for millions of knowledge workers.
• Translate advancing AI capabilities into user-friendly products.
• Craft every detail of new product features from concept to pixel-perfect execution.
• Define the product's visual identity and interaction patterns.
• Own the design process from concept through to execution, iterating based on feedback and user research.
• Help shape the future of chat-first AI native interfaces.

Requirements

• 2 to 6 years of product design experience, focusing on end-user facing products.
• Portfolio showcasing UI/UX design skills.
• Comfortable using Figma.
• Familiarity with AI-native interfaces of successful AI products like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Perplexity.

Nice-to-haves

• Some programming experience with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
