About the position

As a Founding SDR Manager at LighthouseAI, you will be instrumental in establishing and leading the Sales Development Representative (SDR) function within the company. This role involves not only traditional SDR responsibilities but also strategic planning and execution to build a successful outbound sales team. You will work closely with the CEO and VPs, refining processes, training new hires, and driving sales opportunities in the pharmaceutical solutions sector.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in our products, services, and target market (state licensing for companies in the pharmaceutical supply chain)
  • Continuously compile and refine contact data for target buyer personas in target accounts
  • Create and continuously refine call scripts, email templates, and outbound sequences
  • Make at least 375 calls per week
  • Send at least 375 emails per week
  • Create an average of 2.5 sales opportunities per week
  • Hire, train, and coach two SDRs in a player-coach manager role
  • Ramp the two SDRs for three months with each performing at eight outbound sales opportunities per month
  • Hire, train, and coach at least two more SDRs and start running the SDR function as a SDR manager

Requirements

  • Full-time experience in an outbound SDR role for a SaaS product priced at greater than $10,000 annually for at least 4 years
  • Demonstrated top 10% performance among SDRs in the company for two or more fiscal years
  • Proven track record and experience in creating and refining outbound call scripts, email templates, and sequences from scratch
  • Desire to advance career and increase income as a high-performing SDR and SDR manager over the next five years
  • Ambition to build an SDR function from scratch without the constraints of poor management decisions related to people, process, and technology
  • Proven mastery of SDR best practices, combined with the ability to think creatively and iterate on call scripts and email templates
  • Deep understanding of previous success in SDR roles, including why specific call scripts, email templates, and sequences were effective
  • Experienced in implementing SDR technology such as dialers and email sequencing tools
  • Demonstrated ability to curate data for thousands of contacts in a previous role
  • Microsoft Office suite competency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong time management skills to complete projects by deadlines
  • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their projects
  • Maintain excellent verbal, writing, and language skills
