Responsibilities

  • Melt and cast non-ferrous metals using induction and gas-fired furnaces.
  • Operate various foundry equipment including furnaces and casting machines.
  • Calculate weights and measurements as needed for metal casting.
  • Participate in training for forklift operation and other foundry tasks.
  • Fulfill a 90-day training period to determine the best fit within the foundry.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to calculate weights is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience in foundry work is preferred but not required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with molten metal handling.
  • Forklift operation experience.
