About the position

This position involves the delivery and installation of vending and fountain equipment, requiring physical strength and mechanical skills. The role includes loading and unloading heavy equipment, installing beverage systems, and maintaining accurate records of equipment transactions. The technician will also educate customers on equipment maintenance and repair, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load new and used vending or fountain equipment for daily delivery.
• Install vending machines and load/reload with products as necessary.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending/fountain equipment.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.
• Collect accurate and complete equipment information.
• Maintain parts, tools, and equipment.
• Follow DOT regulations.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate customer/work order records for each delivery.
• Transport miscellaneous items such as compressors for repair/scrap, cardboard for recycling, etc.
• Fill, install, and adjust to proper mix of product.
• Establish positive customer relationships.
• Maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age; 21 or older if CDL is required.
• CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (if applicable).
• Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test (if applicable).
• Follow DOT regulations.

• Experience working with mechanical systems (e.g., troubleshooting and repairing appliances).
• Experience generating and setting work schedules.
• Experience operating trucks requiring a CDL Class B license.
• Experience serving customers and resolving customer issues.
• Experience completing basic paperwork.
