About the position
The Fountain Installer is responsible for the delivery, installation, and maintenance of beverage dispensing equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards. This role requires effective communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues with the equipment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, install, and remove fountain and beverage dispensing equipment at customer locations.
- Provide low-priority maintenance on beverage dispensing equipment as needed.
- Ensure safe driving and adherence to motor vehicle laws while operating company vehicles.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles as required.
- Load and unload fountain equipment using forklifts and pallet jacks, and verify asset numbers for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate delivery and movement records using handheld devices.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with equipment during delivery and escalate unresolved issues as necessary.
- Complete all required training and maintain documentation related to fountain equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license.
- CDL B certification preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Electrical and plumbing knowledge or ability to learn.
- Ability to lift 50 to 100 pounds and move large pieces of equipment.
Nice-to-haves
