About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Fountain Worker at Caesars Palace is to accurately handle cash register transactions while ensuring that guests are greeted cheerfully and that food and beverages are prepared according to their requests. This role is essential in providing fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff. The Fountain Worker engages in friendly conversations with guests whenever possible, adhering to the 10/5 Rule: making eye contact and smiling from 10 feet away, and greeting and speaking to guests from 5 feet away. In addition to customer interaction, the Fountain Worker is responsible for accurately inputting all orders into the POS terminal and ensuring that all transactions are posted correctly, providing the correct change, and maintaining the integrity of all financial controls. The worker must prepare drinks to order following established recipes and time guidelines, delivering products to customers in a timely manner. Maintaining high levels of customer service is crucial, and the worker is expected to thank guests for their patronage. The Fountain Worker also has responsibilities related to stock management, including maintaining appropriate stock levels in the area, assisting in the upkeep of display cases, and ensuring cleanliness in the working area and surrounding condiment areas in accordance with health and safety standards. The role includes assisting co-workers, management, and training new staff. Periodic cleaning tasks assigned by management and attendance at mandatory meetings and training classes are also part of the job. The Fountain Worker must resolve guest complaints promptly and inform management of any issues. Basic food preparation and service, such as preparing or serving menu items like sandwiches or salads, are also required.
