About the position

Authentic is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting the financial analysis and reporting functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will report directly to the VP of FP&A and will be responsible for preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports that include comprehensive business performance analysis. The candidate will consolidate financial results, forecasts, and plans for review and presentation to the CEO, CFO, and the Executive Leadership Team. This position requires a strong financial analysis background, a high level of motivation, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving results and effectively partnering with various stakeholders across the organization. In addition to financial reporting, the Financial Analyst will support the development of monthly and quarterly materials for the Board of Directors, ensuring that financial projections, drivers, business performance, risks, and opportunities are communicated effectively to leadership. The role also involves preparing and maintaining various financial documents and summaries for senior management review. The candidate will be expected to develop and support advanced financial models and processes that continuously evaluate business risks and opportunities, ensuring agile decision-making. Participation in business and system maintenance and enhancement projects will also be required to align with changing business needs and optimize system tools. The Financial Analyst will build and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize financial data and trends, facilitating easier interpretation and decision-making. Additionally, the role will involve conducting ad-hoc analyses and assisting with other projects as needed, making it a dynamic and engaging position within the Corporate Finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports, including business performance analysis.
  • Consolidate and provide insights into the financial results, forecasts, and plans for review and presentation to the CEO, CFO, and the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Work closely with revenue analysts to deliver insightful analysis that drive business decisions.
  • Support development of monthly and quarterly Board of Directors materials that effectively communicate financial projections, drivers, business performance, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain various monthly financial documents and summaries for senior management review.
  • Develop and support advanced financial models and processes to continuously evaluate business risks and opportunities, ensuring agile decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in corporate finance, consulting and/or financial planning & analysis.
  • Highly skilled in Excel, Power Query, and PowerPoint; experience with enterprise planning tools and/or Tableau is a plus.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and build strong relationships with business partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex financial data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial information to different stakeholders.
  • Capable of solving problems, adapting quickly to new challenges, and finding innovative solutions.
