About the position

The FP&A Analyst for Diversified Markets at TransUnion plays a crucial role as a finance partner within the FP&A team. This position is responsible for preparing month-end close reviews, assisting in forecasting and budgeting management, and supporting various ad-hoc business requests and special projects. The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business lines, including Tech, Retail, e-Commerce, Services, and 3rd Party Collections, to identify revenue opportunities and optimize costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reports, providing quantitative and qualitative analysis of key variances and trends.
• Support and assist in the quarterly forecast and annual budget cycle, focusing on improving forecasting accuracy and gaining exposure to business operations.
• Partner with vertical and sales teams to review business cases for future development and advance financial models to support growth initiatives.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with business software packages, including MS Office, ERP systems (PeopleSoft, OneStream, Salesforce), and BI/Data Visualization tools.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to present effectively to all levels of the organization.
• Ability to operate under challenging time constraints and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
