About the position

The FP&A Analyst II at Equinix plays a crucial role in supporting financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, operational metrics analysis, and ad hoc reporting. This position is integral to providing insights that enhance business operations and financial performance, while also ensuring compliance and control over financial data.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis for quarterly and annual revenue, cost, and budget forecasts.
• Highlights actual vs. target discrepancies and trends as appropriate.
• Creates corporate, product, operations, and sales financial reporting documents for Executive Management, including insightful variance analysis and commentary.
• Shares insights with business leaders and Finance management to improve business operations.
• Solves problems related to the regional, functional, and country complexity of the business model.
• Discovers and highlights data discrepancies and brings them to the attention of management.
• Calculates commissions and sales bonuses, aggregates data, and completes analysis required for creation of accrual.

Requirements

• 1+ years experience in finance or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
