About the position

The FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and planning across the organization. This position focuses on developing insightful financial and operational analyses for stakeholders, utilizing business intelligence tools to enhance decision-making and improve profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Controller and Executive stakeholders to provide data-driven intelligence for strategic decision-making.
  • Support the development of the annual operating budget.
  • Create comprehensive financial reporting packages on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including forecasts for stakeholders.
  • Leverage dashboards and reports to analyze and distribute operating results, trends, and metrics.
  • Identify sources of variances, communicate causes, and implement forecasting improvements based on data analysis.
  • Develop models on trends and key business drivers to prioritize and plan key decisions, including revenue forecasting.
  • Monitor business performance against KPIs and strategic plans.
  • Assist in supporting business growth strategies by developing metrics and KPI reporting.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Support in preparing Month-End reporting and financial statements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, or a Data Oriented Field, or a minimum of three (3) years of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and functional in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Financial modeling and budgeting experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong experience with Tableau, Microsoft Dynamics, and/or PowerBI is a plus.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or construction industries is preferred.
