Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking an FP&A Analyst who will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis functions of the organization. This position is designed for a detail-oriented individual who will contribute to the reporting, analysis, and visualization of key performance indicators, as well as assist in forecasting and budgeting processes across the company. The FP&A Analyst will leverage business intelligence tools and dashboards to provide insightful financial and operational analyses for both internal and external stakeholders. This role is pivotal in identifying key drivers of business performance and enabling stakeholders to track, measure, and act on these insights to enhance profitability across various functions. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Controller and Executive stakeholders, providing fact-based intelligence and data to support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include the development of the annual operating budget, creation of comprehensive financial reporting packages, and the development of forecasts for stakeholders. The analyst will utilize periodic dashboards and reports to analyze and distribute operating results, trends, and metrics, while also identifying sources of variances and implementing data-driven forecasting improvements. This role will also involve performing routine and ad hoc financial analyses, supporting business growth strategies, and preparing month-end reporting and financial statements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership competencies and a solid understanding of financial analysis, including forecasting, variance analysis, and analytical reporting of revenue and expense trends. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in corporate finance or FP&A. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Dynamics, and PowerBI are essential for success in this role. Prior experience in the manufacturing or construction industries is preferred, and the ability to travel up to 20% is required.
