Raney's LLC. is a fast-growing company in the automotive aftermarket chrome & accessories industry looking for an individual who is personally motivated. As the FP&A Analyst, you would report directly to the VP of Finance and play a critical role in providing financial insights and projections to support strategic decision-making processes. This role is detail-oriented and requires a blend of strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to various stakeholders. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Monitor financial performance by analyzing results and variances.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecasting activities for both legacy locations and acquisition opportunities.
  • Assist with the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts to be rolled forward and updated as necessary.
  • Work with third party vendors to incorporate QofE's for acquisitions into the Company's financial modeling and budgeting process.
  • Coordinate with all locations and key shareholders to gather and validate data.
  • Provide variance analysis and explain discrepancies between actuals and forecasts.
  • Review actual results to identify opportunities for process improvements within financial planning and analysis, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage company capital planning and spend.
  • Support the VP of Finance in long-term financial planning and strategy formulation on key strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve KPI tracking databases and Cash Flow forecasts and systems for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development and management of new reporting and analysis tools for performance monitoring.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Work with the rest of the finance organization to evaluate acquisitions and performance, including setting appropriate future growth targets.
  • Analyze key business drivers and operational metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to enhance profitability.
  • Work closely with accounting, operations, and local site management to gather information and support financial initiatives.
  • Communicate financial concepts and results to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to drive financial efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related field.
  • Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Hands-on experience with sophisticated financial applications and ERP solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus but not required.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite and/or PowerBI is highly desirable, but not required.
