About the position

The Financial Analyst position at CVS Health is focused on providing financial reporting, support, and analysis for various functions including Construction, CVS.com, and License & Registration. The role involves reporting monthly financial performance, forecasting expenses and payroll, and assisting in annual budgeting. The analyst will also engage in ad hoc analyses to support business and finance leadership, aiming to enhance financial management and identify improvement opportunities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Reporting on Monthly & Quarterly results vs Budget/Forecast
• Headcount Planning
• Maintenance of financial data sources
• Effectively communicating results and findings to leadership
• Proactively identify systemic improvement opportunities and work through implementation
• Assist in variance department projects in support of team goals

Requirements

• 1+ month of experience in a corporate finance / accounting role or internship
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
