About the position

We are looking for a creative, quantitative thinker who can run point on key functions of the finance team. This is an exciting role for someone seeking to build out the finance and corporate operations functions at a high-growth, women's healthcare startup. Tia's finance team has broad exposure across the business and shapes strategic and tactical decisions through data-driven insights. You will develop a deep understanding of our performance, perform in-depth analytics and financial modeling, and own our financial reporting and forecasting activities for our joint venture relationships. You're looking to uplevel your career in operational finance by coming to a fast moving start-up with a growing, yet small finance team. You're a team player with good experience managing financial forecasts but are looking to be a member of a team where you can also take on more / wear different hats. You're looking to learn from some amazing finance leaders but also gain exposure. About you: 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business operations, or as a financial analyst / associate at a fast-paced, high-growth startup. Clear understanding of meaningful performance metrics, along with how to distill top-level performance into unit economics. You thrive in ambiguity, yet drive process and structure across an organization. Meticulous attention to detail - you can build a model from scratch, as well as audit and adapt existing financial models. An independent worker who can run against problems with relatively little direction, knows when and how to escalate effectively and when to triangulate. Preferably an undergraduate degree in finance, business, accounting, math or economics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of performance metrics and financial modeling.
  • Own financial reporting and forecasting activities for joint venture relationships.
  • Conduct in-depth analytics to support strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to shape data-driven insights.
  • Manage financial forecasts and adapt existing financial models as needed.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, business operations, or as a financial analyst/associate at a fast-paced startup.
  • Clear understanding of meaningful performance metrics and unit economics.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to build and audit financial models.
  • Strong logical thinking and process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to escalate issues effectively and work independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in healthcare preferred.
  • Adept at advanced Excel skills for financial modeling.
  • Metrics and reporting experience.
