About the position

The FP&A Analyst will support a significant area of the business, focusing on financial analysis, operational efficiencies, and new business opportunities within the waste management sector in Colorado. This role involves collaboration with management to enhance business performance and prepare financial presentations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review income statements and identify areas of concern.
• Prepare pro-formas and analyze financial data.
• Determine price/volume results and identify areas of opportunity.
• Oversee operational statistics to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with operations to improve routing efficiencies.
• Create pricing models for various lines of business.
• Prepare presentations for acquisition opportunities and board decks.
• Complete monthly operating review files and assist with HOA or municipal bid presentations.
• Assist with month-end accounting duties as needed.
• Manage the forecasting process and assist with budgeting.
• Conduct financial reviews with management.

Requirements

• Experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and pro-formas.
• Ability to create pricing models and conduct operational analysis.
• Proficiency in preparing presentations for stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes.
