About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning and analysis, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of financial concepts and corporate finance, as well as the ability to interpret financial reports and prepare accurate financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial planning.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.
• Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls during financial reporting processes.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze variances between actual performance and budgeted figures, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Support corporate accounting functions as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field (Required).
• 3 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (Required).
• Strong knowledge of financial sales principles and practices.
• Proficiency in financial concepts including corporate finance and technical accounting.
• Expertise in financial statement preparation and interpretation.
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements.
• Solid understanding of financial planning processes and methodologies.
• Ability to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
