About the position

As a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst at Fashion Nova, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and strategic direction of the company. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights that will help guide decision-making processes. You will work closely with various departments to gather data, understand business needs, and develop financial models that reflect the company's performance and future projections. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting. You will also assist in the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure that financial targets are met. Your insights will be instrumental in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities within the business, allowing management to make informed decisions. Additionally, you will be involved in ad-hoc financial analysis projects, providing support for strategic initiatives and special projects as needed. The FP&A Analyst will also be expected to maintain and improve financial models, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect the company's financial position. You will leverage your expertise in financial software and tools to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities. Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Assist in the budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to ensure financial targets are met.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the business through financial analysis.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to guide strategic initiatives.
• Maintain and improve financial models to accurately reflect the company's financial position.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Experience with financial software and tools, such as Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-haves
