Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support the strategic planning process.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances.
  • Coordinate with business unit and corporate department leaders to prepare the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Provide detailed monthly and quarterly financial reviews and updates.
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports that compare actual results to forecasts and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain departmental reports and dashboards to provide critical financial and operational information to the business unit and senior management.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Support long-term business planning and new initiatives analysis.
  • Work with the business unit to assess the financial implications of new contracts, products, or other initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team.
  • Collaborate with other finance team members to support overall department goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Liaise with business unit and corporate department leaders to gather, understand, and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling to support specific projects.
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to solve business or financial problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant graduate degree or certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and in using financial software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different levels of an organization.
