About the position

The Financial Analyst position at Zoom is designed to support and scale the Global sales organization by driving planning cycles, presenting data to senior executives, and overseeing sales performance metrics. The role involves developing accurate sales targets, forecasts, and capacity plans, while also enhancing financial reporting and collaborating on projects to improve planning processes and automation.

• Developing accurate sales targets, forecasts, capacity plans, and coverage models for planning processes.
• Reporting on business performance and enhancing financial reporting.
• Collaborating on projects to improve planning processes and automation, streamlining deliverables.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in sales planning, analytics, finance, or operations.
• Familiarity with sales processes, including quotas, capacity planning, commissions, and territory planning.
• Proficiency in systems with an established understanding of advanced sales concepts (e.g., capacity modeling, quotas, commissions, deal cycles, territory planning).
• Proficiency in SQL or Snowflake and comfort with tools such as G Suite and the MS Office Suite.
• Established experience in budgeting, financial reporting, analysis, and return on investment analysis.
• Ability to engage with multifunctional partners and effectively communicate complex financial models and data insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to enhancing planning processes and automating financial reporting.
