About the position

The FP&A Analyst position is a high-visibility role within the Electrical & Fastening Segment (EFS) Commercial Finance team. This position focuses on business partnering with product line leaders and supporting essential financial processes such as the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts, and Monthly and Weekly Reporting & Analysis. The analyst will play a critical role in driving predictability, accountability, and analysis throughout the business, ensuring sustainable profitable growth and providing financial guidance on commercial contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Business partnering with product line leaders to support core financial processes.
  • Gathering data, analyzing, and providing recommendations for new product introductions and sales channel initiatives.
  • Developing reporting and analytical tools to monitor performance and track progress on growth initiatives.
  • Identifying gaps to targets and helping devise plans to overcome challenges.
  • Providing financial guidance on commercial contract negotiations and program harmonization.
  • Supporting working capital improvement ideation and tracking to achieve targets.
  • Identifying opportunities for improving financial processes using Lean tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Operational Finance or Corporate Finance is preferred.
  • CPA/CMA is desirable.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
  • Ability to utilize Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OneStream XF or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and creative thinking ability.
  • Effective communication skills to work with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and personal responsibility.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with critical analytical work in a finance context.
  • Familiarity with Lean tools for process improvement.
