About the position

As a Financial Analyst in the North America Commercial Finance team, you will provide essential financial support to the business by delivering key insights that inform decision-making. Your role will involve analyzing performance, forecasting, and developing strategies to enhance profitability. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure financial goals are met, transforming data into actionable recommendations that drive business growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate and timely annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with Commercial Finance and Regional leadership.
  • Prepare and oversee the development, maintenance, and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting and analysis.
  • Create ad-hoc models to support business decisions and growth initiatives.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources to provide valuable insights to Finance and Business leaders.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of monthly performance results and drive actionable recommendations.
  • Investigate financial transactions and ensure familiarity with the systems and tools used by the Commercial Finance team.
  • Address queries from the Group Reporting team and ensure reporting controls are functioning smoothly.
  • Support broader company projects such as speeding up the month-end close and implementing new reporting systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics within a SaaS business.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, ARR drivers, and P&L.
  • Knowledge of Revenue Recognition rules (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, lookups, and if/then statements.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and solid systems experience with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • High level of initiative, work ethic, and self-motivation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; additional qualifications are a plus.
