About the position

The FP&A Analyst at Greenpoint Technologies is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support management in making informed business decisions. This role requires a strong background in finance, excellent quantitative skills, and proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools. The analyst will collaborate with various departments to ensure effective financial management and drive improvements based on data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas of opportunity or risk and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist with budget or forecast preparation and monitor variances.
  • Support budgeting and planning processes by providing data-driven insights and analysis.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate financial performance against targets and benchmarks.
  • Prepare and present reports and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and analyze KPI performance related to labor, Program Finance, and other operational metrics.
  • Prepare and present KPI reports and dashboards.
  • Partner with other finance functions and internal stakeholders on financial closing and budgeting.
  • Process and manage duties related to financial month-end, quarterly and year-end financial closing.
  • Maintain continuous, accurate and adequate variance analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Power BI.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and concepts, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • SQL proficiency preferred but not required.
  • Experience within the Aerospace industry or manufacturing.
