The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, along with at least two years of relevant work experience in finance, particularly in budget preparation and financial analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2 or more years of work experience in Finance, specifically with budget preparation and financial forecasting or projections
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word, and advanced knowledge of Excel desired
  • Extensive experience with computerized accounting systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with competing deadlines

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of nonprofit accounting or finance experience
  • Working knowledge of Abila's MIP Fund Accounting
