About the position

The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Controller, CFO, and accounting team to provide data-driven analysis and update monthly reports. This role is crucial for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, supporting strategic decision-making across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background and analytical mindset, contributing to the organization's success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support budgeting and planning processes
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide analysis on key business initiatives
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and variances
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as requested by management
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA or CFA designation is a plus
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, cost accounting principles, and corporate accounting practices
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Experience with financial modeling software NetSuite is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
