About the position

Prologis is seeking an Associate in our Denver, Colorado office as part of the FP&A team. The FP&A Associate will be a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for understanding the financial drivers of the business. The FP&A Associate will assist with the aggregation and review of monthly Net Operating Income (NOI) forecasts and annual budgets, maintaining the global forecast calendar and ensuring stakeholders meet their deliverable deadlines. In terms of financial reporting and analysis, the Associate will procure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. They will conduct monthly in-depth analysis of the forecast, focusing on key variance drivers of Net Operating Income and Capital Expenditures, while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business performance. Additionally, the Associate will support the development of management presentations, highlighting key financial metrics and business performance. The role also involves cross-functional collaboration, where the Associate will support ad hoc projects and initiatives by providing financial insights to drive business strategies. They will contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and systems, implementing best practices in financial planning and analysis to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Furthermore, the Associate will automate routine reporting tasks using AI and other tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the aggregation and review of monthly NOI forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Maintain the global forecast calendar and assist in ensuring stakeholders meet their deliverable deadlines.
  • Procure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related financial role.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with familiarity in financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems.
  • Experience with AI and coding (e.g., ChatGPT, Python, SQL) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Nice-to-haves
