About the position

The FP&A Director GCI at Gathr Outdoors is a pivotal role within the finance team, responsible for driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. Reporting to the CFO, this position involves analyzing key performance indicators, managing financial planning processes, and providing insights to support the company's growth objectives. The role requires a blend of financial acumen and leadership skills to navigate complex business challenges and enhance financial capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-variable sensitivity and trend analyses to identify drivers and predictors of revenue growth.
• Review and challenge distributor/dealer plans and support distribution channel strategies.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports of key product financial performance indicators.
• Lead financial planning, including monthly/quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting.
• Review income statement and balance sheet results with the Accounting team to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare/review all GCI capital allocation requests to support business growth initiatives.
• Prepare Board and executive management materials, such as quarterly forecasts and budget presentations.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance/Accounting or Business; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
• At least 7+ years of experience in FP&A.
• Strong base knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
• Proven track record of creating robust analyses that translate into business decisions.
• Experience in the consumer products industry is a must.
• Solid budgeting/forecasting/reporting background.

• Experience with BI tools and financial applications.
• Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
