About the position

The FP&A Finance Manager for Supply Chain and Operations will lead financial planning and analysis efforts within a private equity-owned organization. This role focuses on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support supply chain operations and new market expansions. The manager will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to provide analytical support and insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead weekly analysis, preparation, and presentation of strategic plans, annual operating budget, and monthly forecast updates for the Supply Chain area.
  • Build proforma models and fulfillment strategies for new store and market expansions in partnership with Real Estate and Operational leaders.
  • Partner with senior management in data gathering and analysis for short and long-term action plans and financial analyses on profit improvement opportunities.
  • Work directly with cross-functional department leads to understand requirements for analytical support in logistics and distribution operations.
  • Interpret and summarize results of financial analysis and propose recommended solutions.
  • Improve and streamline existing reporting and analysis to enhance supply chain reporting capabilities and insights.
  • Stay informed about geopolitical, macro, and competitive trends affecting the supply chain in the furniture industry.

Requirements

  • Proven thought leadership skills with the ability to drive results in both individual and team environments.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a focus on quality, accuracy, and clarity.
  • High level of intellectual curiosity that translates into innovative approaches to business issues.
  • Strong understanding of Operations, including Logistics and Distribution Operations, particularly in a Retail or eCommerce context.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work with various systems for data analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret financial documents and perform financial modeling.
  • Experience working with large datasets and summarizing findings effectively.
