About the position

The FP&A Lead position at Lockheed Martin is a critical role responsible for managing the financial planning and analysis for the ~$1.5B USW portfolio. This hybrid telework opportunity allows for a combination of remote work and on-site presence, focusing on long-range planning, operating plans, financial forecasting, and program cost management. The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, ensuring the financial health and operational excellence of the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis for the USW portfolio, including long-range plans and operating plans.
• Coordinate monthly outlooks, quarterly EACs/CSRs, and month-end closing activities.
• Conduct monthly financial reviews and manage balance sheet reviews.
• Oversee program cost management and financial forecasting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Manage EVMS for portfolio programs, including baseline management and performance reporting.
• Support management of DCMA surveillances and quarterly CSRs.
• Lead and manage a team of early career or experienced direct reports.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to represent financials to senior and executive management.
• Strong program finance experience and business acumen.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to provide sound data-driven analysis and decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as SAP/Hyperion and Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lockheed Martin RMS financial systems, processes, and policies.
• Strong accounting background with a good understanding of balance sheets and inventory control.
• Experience with FMS/DCS contracts, including currency exchange and foreign ledgers.
