About the position

The FP&A Lead at Lockheed Martin will oversee the financial planning and analysis for the ~$1.5B USW portfolio. This role involves coordinating long-range plans, operating plans, monthly outlooks, and financial reviews, while managing program cost management and financial forecasting. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, ensuring operational excellence and financial accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and analysis for the USW portfolio, including long-range and operating plans.
• Coordinate monthly outlooks, quarterly EACs/CSRs, and month-end closing activities.
• Manage program cost management and financial forecasting processes.
• Conduct ROS and cash analysis, enhancing financial performance.
• Oversee EVMS for portfolio programs, including baseline management and performance reporting.
• Support management of DCMA surveillances and quarterly CSRs.
• Lead and manage a team of early career or experienced direct reports.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and presentation skills for representing financials to senior and executive management.
• Strong program finance experience and business acumen.
• Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to balance competing priorities.
• Ability to provide sound data-driven analysis and decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as SAP/Hyperion and Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Lockheed Martin RMS financial systems, processes, and policies.
• Strong accounting background with a good understanding of balance sheets and inventory management.
• Experience with FMS/DCS contracts, including currency exchange and foreign ledgers.
