About the position

The FP&A Financial Analyst at Terumo Cardiovascular is responsible for performing specialized financial, accounting, and planning activities. This role involves analyzing and reporting financial information to management, supporting the North American Commercial team, and leading budget planning and reporting processes. The analyst will also work on process improvements and automation of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with quality policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare NA sales revenue and gross profit analysis, including reporting monthly actuals and leading preparation of the monthly sales revenue forecast.
  • Identify trends and provide insights on sales revenue results.
  • Serve as primary FP&A partner to the NA Commercial team, completing ad hoc assignments as required.
  • Lead annual capex budget planning and monthly capex reporting (actuals and forecast).
  • Maintain Finance SharePoint site and Finance Intranet site, enhancing the experience for stakeholders.
  • Develop requirements and collaborate with the Business Analysis Team to automate existing financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for Finance and Accounting process/workflow improvement and implement changes with the team.
  • Prepare various ad-hoc reports as requested, working directly with users under minimal supervision.
  • Provide assistance with and function as a backup for monthly financial report preparation.
  • Support the SAP Process as required.
  • Participate in annual budgeting and LRP process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Requires a four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5 years of related experience in financial analysis or accounting.
  • Manufacturing in a regulated industry and/or Medical Device experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and basic skills with other computer software, i.e. Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with SAP, or similar ERP software and/or Crystal Reports preferred.
