The Echo Trailblazers internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals eager to dive into the dynamic world of transportation and logistics. As a Finance Intern at Echo Global Logistics, you will be immersed in a supportive and collaborative environment where you will gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills. This internship is designed to provide you with the confidence, community, and communication skills necessary to succeed in the logistics industry. You will work closely with a Finance Manager and play a key role in adding value across the organization. Your responsibilities will include gathering financial information, providing analysis, and offering guidance to managers, department heads, and executives. This will help them assess the financial impact of various business decisions. Additionally, you will assist the Manager of Financial Planning in forecasting, reporting, and distributing financial reports to all departments within Echo. Throughout the internship, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of Echo's business units, customers, and sales representatives, while gaining insight into various projects and roles within the Finance team. The internship spans 10 weeks, starting on June 2, 2025, and will require you to work in the Chicago office three days a week, with the option for hybrid work two days a week. You will have the chance to partner with the Finance team on a capstone project, conduct research, and assist with various finance-related requests. Projects may involve analysis, reporting, and financial statements, providing you with a well-rounded experience in the accounting and financial space. You will also have the opportunity to shadow individuals in different departments and present your experiences and goals to leadership at the end of the internship. This internship not only offers valuable work experience but also the potential for full-time employment upon completion.
