About the position

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role at Citi, responsible for providing management with analysis and insights into the company's financial results. This position collaborates with the broader Finance team to contribute to strategic direction and offers specialized knowledge to evaluate financial reports regarding Citi's current and projected performance. The role requires on-site presence in the NYC area three times a week.

Responsibilities

• Create financial reports and summarize financial trends for senior management.
• Advise on directional strategy and significant business/product decisions.
• Execute analysis of annual 3-year Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR PPNR forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks in partnership with FP&A teams.
• Prepare analytics for CEO Reviews, including business initiatives.
• Analyze product profitability and guide significant business and product decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for the team supporting the CFO.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
