About the position

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role at Citi responsible for providing management with analysis and insights into the company's financial results. This position plays a crucial role in contributing to the directional strategy of the organization and requires in-depth specialty knowledge to evaluate financial reports and projected performance. The analyst will work closely with the broader Finance team and must reside in the NYC area, reporting on-site three times a week.

Responsibilities

• Create financial reports and summarize financial trends for senior management.
• Advise on directional strategy and significant business/product decisions.
• Execute analysis of annual 3-year Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR PPNR forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks in collaboration with FP&A teams.
• Prepare analytics for CEO Reviews, including business initiatives.
• Analyze product profitability and guide significant business and product decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for the CFO's team.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
