About the position

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role at Citi responsible for analyzing and providing insights into the company's financial results. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Citi Markets business by contributing to strategic direction and advising on financial evaluations. The analyst will work closely with the broader Finance team to prepare financial reports, execute analyses, and influence decision-making at senior management levels.

Responsibilities

• Create financial reports and summarize financial trends for senior management.
• Advise on directional strategy and significant business/product decisions.
• Execute analysis of annual 3-year Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR PPNR forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks in partnership with FP&A teams.
• Prepare analytics for CEO Reviews, including business initiatives.
• Analyze product profitability and guide significant business and product decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for the team supporting the CFO.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred.
