About the position

The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior role focused on providing management with insights and analysis of Citi's financial results. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the Citi Markets business by contributing to strategic direction and evaluating financial reports to assess current and projected performance.

Responsibilities

• Create financial reports and summarize financial trends for senior management.
• Advise on directional strategy and significant business/product decisions.
• Execute analysis of annual 3-year Strategic/Operating Plans, CCAR PPNR forecasts, mid-year reforecasts, and bi-monthly outlooks in collaboration with FP&A teams.
• Prepare analytics for CEO Reviews, including business initiatives.
• Analyze product profitability and guide significant business and product decisions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence decision-making.
• Prepare presentations and analysis for the CFO's team.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated presentation skills.
• Ability to operate with limited supervision and exercise independence of judgment.
